As a Software Engineer II, you’ll work in an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating with a group of highly talented software engineers on our web applications. In this role, you will:

  • Be working with technologies such as Golang, Vue.js, Docker, Kubernetes, PHP, and Terraform
  • Maintain and add features to modern and legacy applications
  • Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and minimize issues
  • Troubleshoot distributed systems in AWS Cloud and Google Cloud Platform
  • Be part of an agile distributed team that is truly committed to code quality and innovation
  • Both collaborate effectively in a team environment and work independently
  • Participate and grow in a continuous learning environment
  • Adhere to coding standards and development best practices For this role, you must have:
  • 2-5 years professional experience in backend development with a focus on building web-based applications
  • Proficiency in Golang, with ability to easily learn other languages
  • Experience with SQL and constructing relational SQL databases
  • Experience developing REST APIs
  • Working knowledge of Javascript, CSS, and HTML
  • Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns Bonus points for:
  • Experience in developing enterprise-level web applications using microservices
  • Experience working with event-driven architectures
  • Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular)
  • Experience working in Lean/Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience with messaging systems
  • Proficiency with PHP
  • Knowledge of DevOps processes and technologies around version control, test automation frameworks, continuous integration/deployment, and production monitoring & support
