About The Role

Our company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst that will be responsible for supporting the corporate consolidation process and for delivering reporting and analyses that impact high-profile strategic and operational decisions. The successful candidate will be highly analytical by nature and have a deep understanding of three statement models. We are looking for top performers that have distinguished academic and technical backgrounds, are excellent collaborators and have the drive and judgment to work effectively and independently.


What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and enhance Houzz’s corporate model, including detailed three statement consolidation and forecasting.
  • Establish rigorous model testing frameworks, variance bridges and data-driven explanations to track performance of these models.
  • Project manage deliverables around financial modeling projects that help short and long-range forecasting.
  • Interact regularly with business and finance team stakeholders to generate insights and recommendations as well as take feedback to update / improve models and analyses.
  • Prepare financial reporting deliverables to the Executive team and Board with analysis of business trends and drivers that explain forecast versus actuals variances.
  • Support other ad-hoc FP&A projects and deliverables.

At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have

  • An undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of full-time experience in investment banking strongly preferred. 4-5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, consulting or other analytical roles will also be considered.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • A passion for and understanding of e-Commerce companies
  • An ability to work independently within a decentralized team
  • Familiarity with PBCS or Netsuite
