Job Description

A low-to-mid-priced furniture store chain retail company is looking to fill a full-time role for a Back-End JavaScript engineer. In this role, you would be responsible for enhancing and optimizing our eCommerce application performance and integrating data storage and protection solutions.

Their CTO wants engineers that are solution-oriented and works well in face paced environments. Although this role is primarily based on software manufacturing, personality and culture fit is incredibly important to their team. They value individuals that are authentic and proactive while ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests. Required Skills & Experience

  • 4-7 years experience developing and debugging full stack applications
  • Excellent knowledge of Node.js or Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with modern web application and framework such as Vue.js, Angular or React
  • Skilled at developing SQL relational schemas
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Comfortable working with Agile methodologies such as sprints
  • Experience writing unit tests and refactoring code
