Description
Mechanical Design Engineer assisting in design and development of legacy and new product development. Role will be 50% in design and the other 50% in cross function groups out on floor talking with floor members etc
- Utilize Autodesk Inventor/Solidworks for legacy and new product development
- Use FEA and GD&T to run analysis on feasibility of project
- Utilize Microsoft suite to create project proposals
Qualifications
- Must have Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field (mechanical engineering, architecture, industrial engineering etc)
- Must have minimum 2 years of experience after school performing design/analysis of designs
Must have Inventor OR Solidworks design software
Skills
Design, fea analysis, gd&t, autodesk inventor
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ideal candidate has experience working with door and window casements and design of doors and windows.
