Archer is an aerospace company based in Palo Alto, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What you’ll do:

  • Select, develop, performance manage, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function; including m onitoring performance of support personnel; reviewing response times, ticket data, and trends in problems reported
  • Create documentation of and ensure the operation is in accordance w/internal policies, procedures and Client-facing Help Guides
  • Perform procedures to support Compliance requirements (SOX, ISO, and other) including maintaining policies and completion of audit activities
  • Ensure all phases of IT Operations including installations, upgrades of software, hardware, operating systems, and configuration issues are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved
  • Manage deployment and updates of enterprise solutions residing on worker machines
  • Recommend strategies and/or hardware/software improvements to increase employee productivity
  • Identifies, prioritizes, and confirms resolution of reported problems with desktop, laptop, networked devices/systems
  • Contributes significantly to the design of the Issue to Resolution and Request to Delivery process
  • Interfaces with IT Service Request Management configuration team to expand functionality or implement new capabilities
  • Create, update, and report network metrics to the IT Leadership Team
  • Lead and implement change initiatives within the organization in accordance with Change Management methodologies as well as industry security and compliance procedures as Archer grows

What you need:

  • 8+ years of related IT work experience including team management
  • Experience with compliance requirements (SOX, ISO, and other) including maintaining policies and completion of audit activities
  • Experience developing incident response procedures and managing a SOC team – aligning with NIST, CMMC, and ITIL methodologies
  • Experience with Google Workspace & MS 365, Windows, & VDI solutions
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a computer field
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with an strong attention to detail
  • Ability to move and lift IT equipment as necessary, including PCs, servers, and rack equipment
